Copper Strip Corrosion
Copper Strip Corrosion Test Procedure
The solid block bath is specifically designed for measuring thin silver strip corrosion to ASTM D7667 and copper corrosion to ASTM D130.
The bath features four test wells to accommodate Corrosion Pressure Vessels (11500-0) and four test tube pre-heating wells for 25 mm diameter x 150 mm Test Tubes (11590-0).
The bath incorporates a centre hole in the block with a protruding aperture on the top cover for mounting a thermometer or digital thermometer probe which can be used to verify the test block bath temperature. The bath is capable of achieving a temperature stability of better than ±1 °C at temperatures between 20 and 150 °C as specified in ASTM D7667 and ASTM D130 test methods.
